Each site can have a site diagram. On the site diagram you can show all the devices and connections that exist between them. Optionally, you can store non-diagrammed devices at a site.

All of the diagrams are stored in the database and you can use the map view function to see how the sites interconnect at a global level. You only define connections between sites once, and the map view is automatically created for you.

If you want to hold the details of several smaller sites on just one diagram there is the option to cross reference a site to another site. Choose edit site details and enter the site number of the site where you intend to store the diagram.

Viewing a Site Diagram

either:

From the map window, double click on a site or use toolbar site diagram button

or

Select a site on the main NetHelpDesk screen site list box and click on the diagram toolbar icon

or

From the request window, click on the diagram icon.
