After the query has run the Inventory query results screen is displayed. Query results are stored in a database table with the name RESnnnnn. This name is displayed at the top of the results screen. This allows you to import the results or manipulate them with any ODBC program. The results can also be exported to a .csv format file by choosing the make .csv file button. The appearance can be adjusted in several ways: Change sort order by selecting the required radio button. Change the column widths by moving the column bar in the field name box. Changing the font size by cycling through them with the font size button. These changes are saved when the OK button is pressed. They will be re-applied if the query is re-run/re-displayed. The other buttons are used as follows: Print - prints the results on the selected printer. Start Updates - the values in the data fields can be updated using the query results. This greatly simplifies the task of making updates to a large number of items. Press start update and make the changes. Press OK and the fields will be updated. A warning is issued if data has changed since the query was run. IP Info - Used with IP address list queries. Select a field that has an IP address in it. This button will then display information concerning that IP address - its class and the maximum and minimum host number for 3 sub masks. |
