Back in August, we redesigned the settings screens into a new streamlined "Main Configuration" area, where new and existing customers could easily access all of the wonderful functionality in bite-sized pieces.
"We love NetHelpDesk, as there is so much functionality you get out of the box, but there's so much, we sometimes don't know what is there." We even had this feedback after the main configuration was created.
So, we went back, and enhanced this area further. We have also removed the original 'basket' facility, where you choose what you want. Instead, you now 'switch on' the functionality you want to use, leave switched off if you don't, and these affects can be seen throughout the product.
For example, if you don't use the "Asset Management" functionality, all mention of Assets is now removed automatically when the area in the Main Configuration is 'switched off'. However, if you later decide to implement, it all appears in one effortless wave throughout the interfaces.
We love all these types of changes, and they come from all of you, our users. We're always listening to your feedback, so thank you for helping us to be the best version we possibly can!
To our global customer base, we wish you all the very best as we end the year together. We have customers from timezone UTC -10 all the way to UTC +12, so this time of year means different things to different people. To us, it means a time to look at what we have achieved this year, what went right, what went wrong, and solidify plans of where we are going in the coming year of 2016.
