Having installed NetHelpDesk for the first time, this tutorial will give you an introduction to the system and guide you through some of the initial setup. You will be introduced to our key concepts and set you on a path to going live with your very own NetHelpDesk.
If you are yet to start a trial, it would be worth installing that now because much of this tutorial involves helping you configure NetHelpDesk for your use.

When you are ready to begin the tutorial, click the Next button.

When you open NetHelpDesk for the first time you will be prompted to enter a username and password - the default for this is ‘Admin’ and ‘password’.
You will then be taken through the initial setup wizard, where you will be asked to input some basic information; to tailor the program for your organisation. You can always return to this screen by going to N > Setup > Initial Setup Wizard.

Once completed, the Main Configuration will open. This screen determines which features will be visible to you and your agents. NetHelpDesk is sold with all modules as standard, therefore it is important to take a moment to switch on the features that you will be using.
You can always return to enable more features by going to N > Setup > Main Configuration.
NetHelpDesk is available on a range of devices with industry-leading functionality available throughout.
